Choose the sport you want to bet on

When you click on a sport you will see an overview of upcoming events and will be able to either make bet selections from this screen, or dig deeper into a specific event to access more betting options.
Betting on a sport at bet365
Once you have selected racing from the menu, click on a race you want to bet on. Races are listed by the country and the racecourse where the race is taking place, and for each course you will see the order of racing presented as a numbered row of races planned for the day.
Choose the race that you want to bet by clicking on the relevant race number.
This will open up the betting page for that race, which displays a basic racecard for the race. The racecard displays the horse number, silks, rider, trainer, weight, age and form.
To the right of each horse are its odds in yellow, i.e. the price it is trading at.
The race view also features a menu which allows you to access other betting options. The options here can vary depending on the profile of the race, but you will typically be able to access Each Way Extra and Forecast/Tricast markets for UK and Irish races.
To start with, play it simple and just select the horse you think you will win the race. You can do this by clicking on the yellow odds of the horse you are backing.
This will immediately add the horse to a betting slip. The bet slip will offer you the option of placing an each way bet on the horse.
You can then click on 'Set stake' and input the amount you want to bet on the horse. The potential money you could win will then be shown automatically on the slip, and you can click on the Place Bet button to process your bet.
If you haven't already logged in, you will be prompted to log in.
If you backed the correct outcome your money will be placed in your account once the event finishes.
How do I place an accumulator bet on bet365?
Accumulator bets are popular in many sports because they allow you to place a single stake on several events at the same time, and score a really big payout if all your bets win.
bet365 makes it very easy to place accas. In this example we will use the Premier League.
To place your football accumulator, click on football/soccer in the left hand side menu. You can then find the England Premier League in the list of popular competitions on the football page.
Click on this and you will see a list of upcoming matches where you can instantly place a match bet on any of these games, backing the home team, away team or the draw in a full time result market.
While we will use these match bet markets to put together an accumulator, you can place accumulators with almost any football bet type, for example:
To view these options you will need to click on a particular game, which will open up all the available bet types and then place a bet.
To build an accumulator using match bets you will need to place more than one full time result bet. It is entirely up to you in terms of how many selections you want to add to your accumulator.
In this example we will add three selections to our accumulator.
To do this we simply select the outcome of the three matches we want to bet on, selecting home, away or the tie for each match.
Each selection we make will automatically appear on the bet slip until it shows the number '3'.
Once we have made all the selections the option to place 'Trebles' will appear when we open the bet slip, with the cumulative odds for the bet and any bonus that may apply.
To place the accumulator we enter our stake and click on Place Bet.
When placing an accumulator bet, always remember that you will need to bet on separate games. For example if you place three wagers but two of these are on one game, you will only see the options to place a 'double' accumulator on the bet slip.
How to place multiple bets at bet365
Accumulators are just one type of multiple, but there are other multiples options available when you make more than one selection in the betting markets - these can also pay out a lot of money if they win.
As is the case with accumulators, you will need to place more than one bet per game to unlock the various multiples options.
You can use almost any football bet type to set up your bet, such as the correct score, double chance, first half score and full time/half time result markets, placing each bet on a separate game.
The process of placing the bet is also the same.
Choose the league you want to bet on.
Choose which games you want to bet on and select the outcome of each game directly from the match list, selecting the home team, away team or the draw.

This will display all the different multiple options available. If you have made four selections, this will include singles, doubles, trebles and a Yankee bet.
