Betfair Exchange

Betfair was founded in 1999 and has been the dominant betting exchange ever since, providing an attractive alternative to traditional bookmakers. It has turnover in excess of £50 million per week, and handles more transactions per day than all European stock exchanges combined. In 2013, the company launched a separate sportsbook service to complement its betting exchange.

  • steep learning curve for those new to betting exchanges
