2024 Nunthorpe Stakes Preview
Asfoora heads into the Nunthorpe Stakes as the favourite following a win in the King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot which he followed with a second place in the King George Stakes at Glorious Goodwod. He’s a class act, but at 11/8 doesn’t offer great value against an equally strong field.
King Stand Stakes winner Bradsell offers much better value at 5/1. He had some indifferent form after his win at Royal Ascot but bounced back to his best in a Listed race at Deauville last time out.
Big Evs was beaten in the King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot after starting as favourite, then beat Asfoora in the King George Stakes at Glorious Goodwood earlier this month. At 7/1 you won’t find better value in the field.
