2024 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes
The market has been cagey about piling in on the favourite for the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes, with Mill Stream claiming the favourite status priced at over 4/1. The 4-year-old is yet to win at Group 1 level, but won the Group 2 Clipper Stakes at York on his last outing, which has propelled him to the top of the odds table.
The much older and more experienced Kinross is second in the betting. He won a pair of Group 2 sprints last season before ending his season with a second place in the British Champion Sprint Stakes at Ascot. Those performances continued a run of form dating back to 2022 when he took a pair of Group 1 sprint victories. At 11/2 he offers solid each-way value.
If you want to get behind the fastes horse in the field, look no further than Art Power. Trading at 14/1 he was the winner in the Group 1 British Champion Sprint Stakes in 2023 and has won previously on the Royal Ascot stage, winning the Palace of Holyroodhouse Stakes in 2020.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes is a 6 furlong Group 1 sprint open to 4-year-old and above racehorses. The race is the Royal Meeting’s feature 6 furlong sprint and is part of the Global Sprint Challenge, preceded by the King’s Stand Stakes and followed by the July Cup.
Betting on the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes
The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes tends to attract fields with an international flavour, and this combined with the high quality of entries and race distance makes it one of the more competitive Group 1 races run at Royal Ascot. Favourites rarely win the race and highly rated racecourses are usually beaten by more humble opponents. With the favourite’s priced dropped by bets from the general public, this is a good race to lay the favourite. Otherwise look for a horse priced under 12/1 who’ll also offer you each-way value.
