Originally known as the Queen’s Own Yorkshire Dragoons Condtions Stakes, the Flying Scotsman Stakes has been contested since 1983. In 2013 the race was upgraded to Listed status. The race has blooded some impressive talent, with the legendary Frankel winning the title in 2010.
