2024 Park Hill Stakes Betting
The market has been cautious about getting behind any one horse for the 2024 Park Hill Stakes. The favourite and former National Hunt racehorse, Night Sparkle, comes into the race priced at 7/2.
Her favourite billing is largely thanks to a third place achieved in the Lillie Langtry Stakes at Glorious Goodwood in August. However, she is yet to win this season.
Oxford Comma is second in the markets, having won her last two races. Her most recent win was achieved at Doncaster over 1 mile 4 furlongs in June, and was achieved by 3 lengths. At 4/1 she’s the strongest candidate in the field and will refund your losing stake on an each-way bet if she places.
After winning a Listed race at Newmarket’s July meeting, Mistral Star was tested at the highest level in the Yorkshire Oaks, where she was found wanting and finished just outside the places. She’s a candidate for a place in this race, but there’s better value elsewhere in the field.
Scenic comes into the Park Hill Stakes with a few advantages. She won a Listed race last time out, lost out very narrowly in a race over 1 mile 7 furlongs prior to that and has generally been improving race by race. At 7/1 she offers the best value in this field.

Park Hill Stakes Betting
The Park Hill Stakes is a stiff challenge for filly and mare stayers, and it is not unusual for an outsider to upset the odds in this race. However, wins by long shots are also not the norm and you’ll tend to find the best value amongst horses priced between 4/1 and 10/1 as the produce the majority of race winners.
