For example if you see your selection available at a price of 6/1 on race day and think that represents great value, you can place your bet then and there.

If the price drifts ahead of the race and your selection starts at 10/1 and wins, you will be paid out at 10/1. If, however, your selection’s price drops to 3/1 by race time you will be paid out at 6/1.
