bet365 is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and is a member of the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS), which adjudicates in the event of betting disputes with customers. Unlike most other leading UK bookmakers, bet365 is registered in the UK – so it’s subject to UK law and pays UK taxes.

Since its founding in 2000 bet365 has become quite likely the biggest online bookmaker in the world and is certainly among the most trusted and financially stable.

We find that bet365’s odds for football betting are consistently among the best available. In fact, its football odds typically provide between 23% and 35% better value than the market average.

The bookmaker’s odds for horse racing and other sports also often provide good value, but bet365 isn’t consistently a leader in terms of the best odds for these markets.

The bet365 site displays a lot of information on each page, which can at first be overwhelming.  Nonetheless, markets are clearly organized by popularity and when they’re due to happen, so it was easy for us find what we were looking for in the markets.

Live streaming

To add to the In-Play excitement, bet365 stream over 200,000 events live to your PC every year – so you can bet as the action unfolds. Highlights include Masters Series Tennis tournaments and matches from some of the top domestic Soccer leagues in the world.

To use the Live Streaming service you will need to be logged in and have a funded account or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours. Any fixture/event on their website which has the Play or Video icon next to it is scheduled to be shown via Live Streaming.

Live Streaming was available to us on PC, iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Note that there are some restrictions placed on what you can see depending on your which country you are in, but racing and football in the UK are very well covered.

Live betting

bet365 offered us great live betting, especially in football, with an easy to use interface that includes scoreboard information and, when available, live streaming. There are plenty of markets to choose from. It’s even easy for us to keep track of different events simultaneously. The desktop version allows us to see both the live action and betting markets and odds, while the mobile versions allow for easy switching between these views.

“One wallet system”

As well as sports betting, bet365 includes good-quality casino, games, poker and bingo rooms. Its “one wallet system” means that we only needed a single account to participate in all sports betting and games.

All of the features that make bet365 great, including in-play betting and live streaming were available to us on both mobile and tablet. bet365 has dedicated apps for iPhone or iPad and Android that enable you to access live streaming. All we needed to access the rest of the bet365 services is an active internet connection.

The bet365 website itself is also mobile responsive, so that using the apps is not a necessity.

We were able to access the bet365 customer service team 24 hours a day via live chat, e-mail and telephone. We’ve found members of the team to be courteous and helpful, although the live chat respondents are sometimes slow.

bet365 supports a very wide range of options for making payments and withdrawals. The time that deposits and withdrawals took depended on the method we used, but generally transactions are quick and efficient.
