About the Foxhunters Open Hunters Chase
The Foxhunters Open Hunters Chase was first run in 1947 and was originally run over the full distance of the Grand National Steeplechase. The race is one of only three races that is run over the same fences as the Grand National, with the other races being the Topham Chase and the Grand National Steeplechase.
