About the Mares Standard Open NH Flat
First introduced in 2005, the Nickel Coin Mares’ Standard Open NH flat race honors Nickel Coin, the 1951 Grand National champion and the latest mare to secure a victory in the Grand National. Initially classified as a Listed event, it was elevated to Grade 2 status in 2016.
