About Aqueduct Racecourse
Nestled in the heart of Queens, Aqueduct Racetrack is one of New York State’s premier thoroughbred horse racing destinations.
Aqueduct Racetrack hosts some of the most prestigious races in the United States including Grade 1 races the Cigar Mile Handicap, Wood Memorial Stakes and Carter Handicap.
It also hosts over a dozen Grade 2 and Grade 3 races. Aqueduct Racecourse features three courses, a 1 mile 2 furlong dirt track, a 1 mile turf course and a 7 furlong turf sprint track. The racecourse can accommodate up to 40,000 spectators, with seating for 17,000 people.
