2024 National Hunt Chase Challenge Cup Preview
Corbett’s Cross and Embassy Gardens are the two standout prospects in the 2024 National Hunt Chase Challenge Cup betting markets.
Neither horse has won over a distance close to 4 miles to date, but Embassy Gardens is the more compelling of the two thanks to two recent wins, including a 10 length win in a 3mile 1 furlong race at Naas last time out.

About the National Hunt Chase Challenge Cup
The National Hunt Chase Challenge Cup is a showcase for the UK’s top amateur jockeys, who take on a 4 mile steeplechase course on 4-year-old and above novice staying chasers. 24 fences are jumped in the course of the race.
The National Hunt Chase Challenge Cup is an important part of the Cheltenham Festival, with a history stretching back to 1860. It is also the longest distance race run at the Cheltenham Festival, and was considered the second most important race in the UK until the 1930s.
The fields that compete in the modern version of the National Hunt Handicap Chase have improved since the race’s elevation to Grade 2 status in 2017. Genuine class and staying power are required to win this race, however, the ability of amateur jockeys to pace the race correctly still makes it a very unpredictable event.
