Some top quality mares compete in the Mares Novices Hurdle, so it comes at no surprise to find a favourite trading at near Evens for the 2024 edition of the race.
Brighterdaysahead is unbeaten in a career spanning hurdle, National Hunt flat racing and rules races, most recently winning a mares hurdle at Navan in February by 12 lengths.
However, she is not the only unbeaten mare in the field. Jade De Grugy has won both her starts over hurdles, including a Grade 3 at Fairyhouse in January.
